Position Description /Primary Duties and Requirements:

Performs problem diagnosis, service, and preventative maintenance on Tecan instruments, and peripherals as needed.     
Maintain parts inventory, provide updates on low-inventory supply for reorder and feedback on any issues with installation or part usage.
Provides customer training on use, maintenance, and troubleshooting.              
Update troubleshooting database with information obtained from solving fied service inssues.                 
Cross sell of products and services to existing and potential customers.                     
Ability and willingness to travel on short notice.                           
Maintain company required service reporting.       
Attend Trade Shows to support product setup, function, and service.
Perform instrumentation installation as needed

Secondary Duties and Requirements:

Provide shop support: receive shipments, instrument breakdown, inventory repair.
System shipment preparation
HAAS VF-3 CNC operation to make and inspect newly created parts
Perform in field system evaluation, and deinstallation.
In-house phone support
Machinery operation as needed: CNC, forklift, welding, other fabrication related devices

Applicant background:

BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Life Science, or Engineering
Must be Mechanically proficient with ability to solve problems
At least of 2 years of laboratory experience is desired.
At least of 2 years robotics/automation experience
Highly proficient with computers and experience with: MS Windows, Word, Excel, Powerpoint. Mac experience a plus, Programming experience a plus
Posses a valid drivers license.
