Microplate
Microplate carriers can be configured in landscape as well as portrait, with 2, 3, or 4 position at various heights. When purchasing microplate carriers from Konnis, the carriers can be customized to facilitate the reduction of human error through color coding, etching and keying of the various positions. All are Tecan Microplate carrier compatible.
The microplate carriers are available in low profile or high profile. The low or flat carrier sits low to the deck but if using hanging diti carriers the height of the plates may need to be raised to avoid the Liha arm colliding, see raised microplate carriers. Some adapters are designed for specific automation devices to aid in temperature transfer or ensure precise positioning. Adapters are designed to fit specific labware onto a standard carrier. The carriers interface the adapters to the instrument’s grid system.
